ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 30, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Nisos, a leader in intelligence-driven human risk management solutions, has introduced a new module within its Ascend platform called Identity Integrity. This module is designed to help organizations verify the identity of potential job candidates more thoroughly, addressing the complex challenges posed by remote workforces, sophisticated identity fraud, and AI-enabled fabrication.

As organizations increasingly rely on remote workers and must contend with the growing sophistication of identity fraud and AI-generated fakes, verifying an individual's identity has become a more complex security challenge. Organizations have traditionally relied on document verification to confirm the legitimacy of identification documents and the accuracy of available records. However, this method does not necessarily establish that the person behind the information is consistent, traceable, and real.

To address this gap, Nisos has developed Identity Integrity, a client-led, on-demand capability that cross-references information an organization already has about an individual against multiple, independent sources. These sources include official public records, breach data, investigation databases, and digital footprint information. In just a few minutes, Identity Integrity produces an Identity Integrity Report that identifies inconsistencies, gaps, and other signals that may warrant further scrutiny.

This new module brings the intelligence tradecraft used in complex investigations into a scalable platform experience, enabling organizations to establish confidence before granting trusted access to individuals. The module is designed to complement existing identity verification and background-check processes, providing risk signals and the evidence behind those signals rather than making decisions on behalf of the organization.

Identity Integrity is available exclusively through Nisos' Ascend platform and is designed for use across multiple points in the employee lifecycle, including pre-hire review, employee investigations, and identity assurance at scale. The module can be used to corroborate a candidate's identity earlier in the hiring process, helping teams identify potential synthetic identities, employment discrepancies, and other indicators that warrant closer review. In the event of insider-threat monitoring, HR concerns, or other circumstances that raise questions about an existing employee's identity or credentials, Identity Integrity provides a rapid identity-focused assessment.

Identity Integrity also serves as a valuable tool for organizations to assess sensitive populations or broader workforces following a security event or discovery, such as a suspected nation-state-linked infiltration. The module provides an overall discrepancy score, along with detailed information on the specific signals and underlying evidence supporting the assessment. Organizations can use these findings to determine whether to proceed, investigate further, or escalate to a deeper analyst-led investigation.

When more extensive investigation is warranted, organizations can use Identity Integrity findings to support their own internal review or escalate to Nisos' analyst-led Employment Shield investigations. The module is API-enabled to support integration with applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and security workflows, making it easy to incorporate into existing processes.

LaSalle, CEO of Nisos, emphasized the importance of verifying not just documents but also the consistency and reliability of an individual's identity.

Nisos' Ascend platform, built on the intelligence tradecraft and analyst expertise of the company's founders, enables organizations to conduct client-led risk assessments and monitor human-driven threats at scale. The platform's capabilities are designed to complement existing security measures and provide organizations with a valuable additional layer of protection against identity risks.

Nisos, a human risk intelligence company, helps organizations answer the hard questions about people, such as who is targeting their executives, who is really behind a hire, who inside their organization is becoming a risk, and who they are really doing business with. Founded by former intelligence community professionals, Nisos combines analyst-led tradecraft with AI-powered technology to surface the risks that live outside the firewall, where traditional security tools, background checks, and internal monitoring cannot see. The Ascend platform puts this capability in clients' hands at scale, while Nisos' analyst-led services provide the depth, attribution, and investigation that complex cases demand.
