Newsweek, in partnership with Plant-A Insights Group, compiled a dataset of the top 20,000 brands based on television advertising expenditure in the United States between 2023 and 2025. From this extensive list, more than 2,000 brands were selected for further evaluation through a nationwide survey of nearly 12,000 basketball fans conducted between September and October 2025.
