VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 17, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Newcore Gold Ltd has announced significant drilling results from its Enchi Gold Project in Ghana, highlighting the potential for higher-grade mineralization and resource growth. The company's latest reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Boin Gold Deposit has intersected a wide zone of higher-grade gold mineralization, with one of the most promising intercepts to date.

Hole KBRC411, part of an ongoing 80,000-metre drill program, encountered 2.59 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) over 69.0 metres from 58 metres, including a higher-grade interval of 6.41 g/t Au over 24.0 metres from 59 metres. This intercept is one of the widest and highest grade-thickness zones encountered at Boin to date, underscoring the project's potential for future mine plan optimization and the incorporation of additional higher-grade mineralization into future studies.

The drilling program, targeting both shallow and deeper mineralization, has continued to demonstrate the continuity of gold mineralization and the potential for reserve and resource growth. Hole KBRC414, located 100 metres south of KBRC411, intersected 0.83 g/t Au over 32.0 metres from 70 metres, including a higher-grade interval of 3.37 g/t Au over 6.0 metres from 84 metres. These results, along with those from other holes, are expected to be incorporated into future project economic studies and may support further mine plan optimization.

The Enchi Gold Project, which covers 248 square kilometres, hosts a Probable Mineral Reserve of 51.3 million tonnes grading 0.64 g/t Au, containing 1,055,000 ounces of gold. The project also includes an Indicated Mineral Resource of 83.6 million tonnes grading 0.56 g/t Au, and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 40.1 million tonnes grading 0.49 g/t Au. The Boin Gold Deposit, one of the four deposits comprising the project, has a Probable Mineral Reserve of 15.9 million tonnes grading 0.84 g/t Au, containing 429,000 ounces of gold.

The drilling program at Enchi, which is focused on resource conversion, resource growth, and discovery, has so far reported results from 7 RC holes totalling 960 metres. The company has completed 47,100 metres in 295 holes as part of the ongoing drill program, with 99% of holes intersecting gold mineralization. The drilling has targeted the central portion of the Boin Gold Deposit, with the goal of better defining higher-grade targets and supporting future reserve and resource updates.

Luke Alexander, President and CEO of Newcore Gold Ltd, expressed excitement about the drilling results, stating, "We are thrilled to continue delineating Enchi's higher-grade potential. This drilling includes one of our best intercepts encountered to date, as well as a wide zone of above reserve grade gold mineralization. This drilling continues to demonstrate the opportunity for future mine plan optimization and the potential to incorporate additional higher-grade mineralization into future studies."

The company's 80,000-metre drill program is expected to continue, with the goal of further defining the project's mineralization and supporting future development plans. The results from this drilling will be crucial in shaping the company's strategy for the Enchi Gold Project and its long-term prospects in Ghana's prolific gold belt.
