New York Health, a healthcare provider based in Bay Shore, New York, has welcomed Dr. Myrta Isabel Olivera-Dubón to its team as a board-certified family medicine physician. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Glen Cove Hospital, where she also pursued specialty training in obesity medicine and aesthetic medicine. Her background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish literature from The George Washington University and a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Olivera-Dubón is fluent in both English and Spanish, making her well-equipped to provide culturally competent care to patients from diverse backgrounds. She is dedicated to preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and improving patient outcomes through individualized treatment and patient education.
