The Money Confidence Project (MCP) and the Nasdaq Foundation have teamed up to launch "The Investment Quest," a new five-part video series aimed at helping first-time investors from under-resourced communities gain confidence and feel more connected to the world of investing.

The series, which is now available on-demand on MCP's digital platform Million Stories, uses a blend of personal stories, humor, and practical advice to address the key barriers to investment. According to the 'Transforming Investor Identity' initiative by Commonwealth, the perception of belonging in the investing community is a critical factor in determining whether individuals take the first step towards investing.

"Money anxiety is a real thing, and so is investment anxiety," said Geoff Howard, CEO of The Money Confidence Project. "By partnering with the Nasdaq Foundation, we aim to ease these anxieties and provide a welcoming environment for first-time investors."

Each episode of "The Investment Quest" is designed to be accessible and engaging, catering to viewers on their phones and on their own schedule. The series focuses on breaking down complex financial concepts into understandable and relatable content.

"The Investment Quest is a powerful expression of our shared mission to expand financial knowledge and tools to communities that have not always had access to them," said Jailan Griffiths, President of the Nasdaq Foundation and Head of Purpose at Nasdaq. "We believe this series will meet people where they are, providing both entertainment and practical guidance."

"The Investment Quest" series aims to help first-time investors feel more confident and equipped to start their investing journey. By combining personal stories and practical advice, the series seeks to address the challenges faced by under-resourced communities in the world of finance.

The Money Confidence Project is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to helping people develop the mindset, skills, and habits needed to take control of their financial futures. Through partnerships with corporations, universities, and philanthropic organizations, the project distributes its award-winning Million Stories video library, Venture Valley video game, and Groove personal finance app.

The Nasdaq Foundation works to support under-resourced communities by reimagining investor engagement and equipping these communities with the financial knowledge needed to participate in the markets. Through strategic partnerships and grantmaking, the Foundation supports innovative solutions that empower under-resourced communities and foster long-term economic resilience.
