New Age Metals confirms mineralization and identifies new targets at Mustang Zone

Rockport, Ontario, New Age Metals Inc., a leading junior exploration and development company, has announced the results of its 2026 three-dimensional resistivity and induced polarization (3D IP) survey at the Mustang Zone of its 100%-owned River Valley Palladium Project in Ontario. The survey, conducted by Abitibi Geophysics Inc., aimed to enhance the company’s understanding of the Mustang Zone and identify new targets for future drilling.
The survey, carried out using the DasVision® 3D IP system, covered an area of approximately 4.3 kilometers, generating 24,781 apparent resistivity and chargeability measurements. The results, analyzed by Axiom Exploration Group Ltd., have confirmed known mineralization and identified new geophysical anomalies that could represent significant targets for exploration.
Harry Barr, Chairman and CEO of New Age Metals, stated, "The 2026 DasVision 3D IP survey has delivered exactly what we set out to achieve, confirming the known mineralization and identifying new chargeability trends. Six anomalies and five priority drill targets from a single program are a strong indicator of the potential at Mustang."
Key findings from the survey include the identification of six geophysical anomalies (RVM-01 to RVM-06) and the discovery of two new chargeability trends: Trend 2, located south of the interpreted footwall contact of the River Valley Intrusion, and Trend 3, southwest of known mineralization, internal to the Intrusion. The Metal Factor model, which proved to be the most effective tool for target generation, highlights these areas as potential sources of disseminated to semi-massive sulphide mineralization.
The company plans to advance ground-truthing and geological mapping before proceeding with drill testing. According to Barr, "We are excited to move forward with this systematic work and look forward to validating the interpreted geophysical responses."
The Mustang Zone, discovered by Mustang Minerals in 1999, is part of the same Paleoproterozoic River Valley Intrusion that hosts the larger PGM-Cu mineralized trend. Historical exploration has traced the mineralized zone over 4.5 kilometers, with 67 diamond drill holes totaling 16,442 meters.
New Age Metals is also expanding its portfolio through recent acquisitions and exploration programs. The company acquired the Northern Shield PGM Project in Ontario’s Ring of Fire region, strengthening its exposure to district-scale mafic-ultramafic systems. Additionally, it has expanded its Platinum Group Metals portfolio through the acquisition of the Platreef PGM and Escape East PGM Projects, both located in northwestern Ontario.
The results of the 2026 survey are expected to validate the interpreted geophysical responses and refine the structural and geological model of the Mustang Zone, supporting the company’s ongoing exploration efforts.
