Vancouver, British Columbia, Sept. 03, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- NevGold Corp., an exploration and development company focused on large-scale mineral systems in Nevada and Idaho, has announced significant leadership changes to its management team. The company has appointed Dale Found as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective immediately. Simultaneously, Bob McKnight, NevGold's current CFO, has transitioned to the role of Vice President of Engineering Studies to support the next phase of project development.

Brandon Bonifacio, NevGold’s President and CEO, commented, "We have been working diligently to set our organization up for success as we move into the next stage of project development. The appointment of Mr. Found, combined with Mr. McKnight's transition to a role focused on engineering studies, reflects our strategic direction and commitment to advancing our projects."

Dale Found brings over 35 years of international accounting and finance experience to the role. Prior to joining NevGold, Mr. Found was CFO of Alta Copper Corp. before its acquisition by Fortescue Ltd. He has extensive experience in corporate and mine site operational finance, having been part of the senior leadership team that positioned the Nevada Copper Corp. mine for the final construction phase. Additionally, he was a key member of the management team that took New Gold Inc.’s New Afton Mine through the construction phase and into commercial production.

Mr. Found’s extensive background in financial reporting, operational planning, treasury management, and ERP/systems implementations makes him well-suited for the CFO role at NevGold. His experience in both corporate and site-level finance will be valuable as the company moves into more advanced stages of project development.

Bob McKnight, with over 40 years of relevant experience in the mining industry, will now focus on the upcoming Engineering Study at Limo Butte. As Executive Vice President and CFO of Nevada Copper Corp., Mr. McKnight was directly involved in over $1.5 billion in project debt, equity, stream, and M&A transactions. His expertise in project finance and engineering will be crucial as NevGold prepares to advance its projects.

In other company news, NevGold has granted 400,000 stock options to Mr. Found. Each option entitles the holder to acquire one common share of the company at an exercise price of $1.40 per share, expiring on September 3, 2031. The options were issued pursuant to the terms of the company’s omnibus equity compensation plan.

NevGold currently owns a 100% interest in the Limousine Butte (gold-antimony) and Cedar Wash (gold) projects in Nevada, and the Nutmeg Mountain (gold) and Zeus (copper) projects in Idaho. The company’s next stages of project development, particularly the targeted Engineering Study at Limo Butte, will be crucial to its future growth and success.

The appointment of Mr. Found and the transition of Mr. McKnight to his new role reflect NevGold’s strategic direction and commitment to advancing its projects through experienced and knowledgeable leadership.
