NeuralTrust Opens London Office to Secure UK AI Agents

NeuralTrust, the Barcelona-based platform for securing AI agents, has opened a new office in London to support the growing demand for AI security in the UK. The move is part of the company's strategic expansion in the region, where businesses are rapidly deploying AI agents in their operations.

According to Joan Vendrell, Co-Founder and CEO of NeuralTrust, the new London office will serve as a hub for the company's UK customers, partners, and hiring efforts. "The UK market understands the risk associated with AI agents earlier than most," Vendrell stated. "We want to be here to help mitigate those risks."

The London office is located at 167 Great Portland Street and will support a growing base of financial services, technology, and enterprise clients across the region. NeuralTrust already partners with major UK industry bodies, bringing the same expertise that secures agentic deployments for global banks and airlines to leading companies in the UK.

As companies move from experimenting with AI to deploying autonomous agents in production, they face unique security challenges. Traditional security tools are often inadequate to monitor and control the actions of AI agents, which can take unauthorised actions, call tools, and touch data in ways that standard security controls were never designed to monitor. Gartner predicts that by 2027, 40% of enterprises will demote or decommission autonomous AI agents due to governance gaps that only surface after something has gone wrong in production.

To address these challenges, NeuralTrust offers a platform that includes TrustGate, an AI gateway that sits between applications, agents, tools, and models to enforce policy, control access, and manage traffic. TrustGuard, a runtime security solution, detects and blocks malicious or unsafe agent behavior, providing real-time protection across every platform and endpoint. TrustTest, a red teaming product, proactively probes AI systems for vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them.

"We built NeuralTrust because AI agents create a new kind of risk that traditional security tools weren't designed to catch," Vendrell explained. "The UK market is ahead of the curve in understanding this risk, and we want to work closely with the banks, airlines, and other enterprises here to help them secure their AI agents."

Cameron Brown, UK Managing Director at NeuralTrust, noted that the dedicated London office will allow the company to work more closely with UK enterprises that are already putting agents into production. "UK enterprises are moving fast with AI agents, and they need a partner who understands both the opportunity and the risk," Brown said. "A dedicated London office lets us provide the visibility and control they need to run AI agents safely."

In June 2026, NeuralTrust raised a $20 million seed round, the largest cybersecurity seed financing raised by an EU company to date. This funding will support the company's expansion, including hiring across sales, customer success, and engineering in the UK. With a presence in London, New York, and Barcelona, NeuralTrust counts global banks, airlines, energy companies, and government agencies among its customers. The company is recognized as a category leader by Gartner, KuppingerCole, and MarketsandMarkets.
