Avalon Advanced Materials Inc., a Canadian critical minerals company, has been selected for inclusion in the inaugural Canada Investment Summit Prospectus, showcasing its Nechalacho Rare Earths Project as a strategic critical minerals development opportunity. The project, located in the Northwest Territories, is one of 167 investment opportunities featured in the official prospectus, which is being presented to global investors by the Government of Canada in partnership with major institutional investment organizations.

The Canada Investment Summit, held in Toronto, highlights investment opportunities across the country, with a particular focus on the minerals and metals sector. Nechalacho's inclusion in the summit provides an important platform for the project and the broader critical minerals potential of the Northwest Territories. Premier R.J. Simpson and the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) are emphasizing Nechalacho as a key resource development opportunity, positioning it among a select group of Canadian rare earth and critical minerals projects being presented to global investors.

Nechalacho is one of Canada's most advanced undeveloped rare earth assets, benefiting from substantial historical technical work, including a 2013 Definitive Feasibility Study and extensive drilling. Avalon recently announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Basal Zone, prepared in accordance with U.S. SEC S-K 1300 requirements, providing a modern technical foundation for the project. The company is also advancing a Preliminary Economic Assessment to modernize the development and processing approach and evaluate the project's economics.

The selection of Nechalacho for the Canada Investment Summit comes as governments in Canada, the United States, and allied markets increasingly focus on establishing secure, diversified supply chains for critical minerals. This underscores the important role the Northwest Territories can play in strengthening Canada's domestic supply of critical minerals while creating opportunities for investment, economic development, and long-term benefits for the territory.

Avalon believes Nechalacho's scale, advanced technical foundation, exposure to both light and heavy rare earth elements, and location within a stable Canadian jurisdiction position the project as a compelling opportunity within North America's critical minerals industry. The company is advancing the Nechalacho Rare Earth Elements and Zirconium Project, which contains all light and heavy rare earth elements, as well as zirconium, tantalum, and niobium, critical minerals used in advanced technologies across the communications, defense, advanced technologies, and energy sectors.

In addition to Nechalacho, Avalon is also focused on vertically integrating the Ontario lithium supply chain through the development of Lake Superior Lithium Inc., Ontario's first midstream lithium hydroxide processing facility, located in Thunder Bay. This facility is expected to serve as a cornerstone of North America's integrated battery materials supply chain, transforming northern Ontario lithium into essential inputs for transportation, grid storage, and advanced manufacturing.
