TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 12, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Navitas Semiconductor, a leader in next-generation power semiconductors and power delivery solutions, has announced the development of a 24 kW, 800 V-to-12 V DC-DC power delivery board (PDB) in collaboration with NVIDIA. This new PDB, which will be showcased at the NVIDIA AI Factory MGX Wall partner display area at OCP Global Summit 2026, is part of Navitas' ongoing efforts to advance 800 VDC power architectures for AI data centers.
The 24 kW PDB builds on the company's previously announced 20 kW, 800 V-to-6 V PDB, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. Navitas' latest offering is designed to support the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem and is expected to deliver a target efficiency of 97% at full load, with a power density exceeding 2,000 W/in³. This high power density ensures that the PDB can provide power for the entire compute tray, enhancing the overall performance of AI data centers.
The new PDB is designed in NVIDIA’s latest 400 mm × 60 mm form factor, allowing it to be integrated onto the compute motherboard as close as possible to the xPUs. This proximity minimizes power-delivery losses and supports high-power demands, making it an ideal solution for AI infrastructure. The single-stage architecture of the PDB converts 800 VDC directly to 12 VDC, eliminating the existing 50 V-to-12 V IBC conversion stage and delivering 12 V directly to the voltage regulator module (VRM) that powers the xPU. This simplified power architecture improves system efficiency and reliability while reducing power losses, board space, and overall power-delivery complexity.
The power architecture incorporates 16 × NV6034 (650 V, 18 mΩ) GaNFast™ FETs on the primary side, configured in a stacked half-bridge topology and featuring Navitas' latest dual-cooled DFN 8 × 8 package. This configuration is part of Navitas' broader strategy to accelerate the replacement of legacy silicon with next-generation GaN and SiC high-power technologies across AI infrastructure, from Grid-to-xPU.
Navitas' portfolio of 800 VDC AI data-center platforms provides customers with greater flexibility to select the optimal intermediate-bus voltage and VRM architecture for their point-of-load power requirements. The company has over 450 patents issued or pending, underscoring its commitment to innovation in the field of power semiconductors and power delivery solutions.
