Nauticus Robotics Operates Both Comanche ROVs on Commercial Projects
Nauticus Robotics, Inc., a developer of autonomous subsea robots and autonomy software, has announced significant progress in its third quarter operations. Both of the company’s Comanche remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems are currently operating on commercial offshore projects, marking a notable increase in activity compared to previous quarters.
One of the Comanche ROVs is actively supporting offshore wind development in the U.S. Northeast, while the other is performing platform inspection work off the U.S. Gulf Coast. These concurrent deployments signify the increased utilization of Nauticus's ROV assets and place both systems in active commercial operations simultaneously. The projects also represent commercial activity in two distinct U.S. offshore markets.
"Having both Comanche ROV systems working commercially is an important operating milestone for Nauticus," stated Steve Walsh, Vice President of Sales at Nauticus. "Today, we have active commercial operations in both the Northeast and Gulf Coast, with both systems and our offshore personnel supporting customer projects. The level of activity we are experiencing during the third quarter represents a meaningful improvement in the utilization of our ROV assets."
Nauticus has also submitted bids and proposals for ROV projects across multiple locations in both the U.S. and international offshore markets. The company continues to focus on developing autonomous robots for the ocean industries.
