APEX, N.C., Oct. 8, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- MyComputerCareer, a technical school that provides hands-on Information Technology training, certifications, and job placement in as little as seven months, recently held its fall virtual commencement ceremony. The event took place on October 3, and it marked the graduation of 1,415 new graduates. Approximately 2,500 viewers tuned in on YouTube, including family, friends, and MyComputerCareer team members who provided comments. The ceremony was addressed by CEO Amy Onuska, Founder and Chairman Tony Galati, Chief Marketing Officer Bruce Ackerman, and Director of Alumni Services Kelly Dowling.

She then acknowledged the dedication and perseverance of the graduates, noting that some had studied late into the night after putting children to bed, while others carved out study time between shifts. Many had faced personal challenges that made them question whether their success was even possible. Despite these challenges, they had arrived at this important milestone.

Onuska urged the graduates to take action. She also encouraged the graduates to celebrate their achievements by sharing their success with their children and future generations. "Put those certifications on your wall," she added.

Onuska also highlighted the support MyComputerCareer provides to its graduates. "No expiration date."

The graduates leave MyComputerCareer with lifetime access to career services, including resume support, interview coaching, and pathways to advanced programs such as Cyber Security Specialist (CSS), Cyber Security Engineer (CSE), and the Associate Degree program.

The graduates represent students from various programs, including the Information Technology Security and Administration (ITSA), Cyber Security Specialist (CSS), Cyber Security Engineer (CSE), Cyber Warrior, and Associate Degree programs. Since opening its doors in 2007, MyComputerCareer has equipped graduates with the skills and resources needed for success, resulting in alumni working for top tech companies across the country. The school welcomes students with no former experience or training in IT, and graduates come from a broad range of backgrounds, including hospitality, retail, and stay-at-home parents.
