CLEARWATER, Fla., Oct. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Last Saturday, the My Fairy Godfathers Foundation hosted its annual black-tie charity event, themed "Timeless Temptation," at the Shanna and Bryan Glazer JCC in Tampa, Florida. The gala, which drew over 300 attendees, aimed to celebrate the power of beauty and giving while raising funds to empower women.

The evening kicked off with a room adorned in red and black, setting the stage for a night filled with elegance and generosity. A harpist/cellist provided musical entertainment, and a silent auction featuring over 50 unique items added to the excitement. Guests also enjoyed a signature cocktail and a sampling of wine from the Nonna Dolly Vineyard in Northern Italy.

One of the highlights of the event was a video message from actress Nicole Eggert, a cast member from the popular TV show Baywatch. Eggert, who is a breast cancer warrior and a recipient of the foundation, shared her experience.

The gala included a three-course meal, followed by a live auction that offered luxury getaways in Finland, Sweden, and Spain, as well as a visit to Napa Valley. The grand finale was an unforgettable six-night Italian Escape, hosted by the Nonna Dolly Family, which included wine tastings, excursions, cooking classes, spa treatments, and visits to a castle.

An emotional speech was given by foundation recipient Falana Shannon, who had spent many childhood years in the foster care system and battling health issues. Her experience with My Fairy Godfathers offered her a sense of self-belief for the first time and the opportunity to look toward her future feeling empowered and beautiful, both inside and out.

My Fairy Godfathers, which began as a single Prom makeover nearly two decades ago, has since blossomed into a 501(c)3 organization. The foundation now includes programs such as personalized wig donations, scholarships, beauty bags for first responders, and once-in-a-lifetime Prom beauty experiences. Their efforts have been recognized on "The Drew Barrymore" Show, BLOOM, Tampa Bay Times, HSN, and ABC and FOX. To enhance awareness, garner new recipients, and inspire others, they launched their own podcast called "Giving Back through Beauty" last year, available on Spotify, Apple, and other major platforms.
