Music for Humanity, a nonprofit organization based in the Hudson Valley, will celebrate its 21st anniversary with a special concert on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Mulder Chapel at the Warwick Conference Center in Warwick, New York. The event, open to the public, aims to honor the organization's contributions to music education and community engagement over the past two decades.

Founded in August 2005, Music for Humanity has dedicated its efforts to making music education, performance opportunities, scholarships, and live music accessible to the community. The organization has seen significant growth and impact, with a notable milestone of awarding $26,000 in music scholarships in 2026, bringing its total scholarship awards since inception to $233,000.

The anniversary celebration will feature a lineup of talented performers, including Ryan Soeyadi, Shavon Lloyd, Charles Mokotoff, and E’lissa Jones. This event also highlights Music for Humanity’s ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of musicians. Beyond scholarships, the organization provides free live performances, supports music education, donates musical instruments to schools and students, and creates opportunities for musicians to share their talents with the community.

Barry Adelman, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Music for Humanity, expressed, "Twenty-one years ago, we started Music for Humanity because we believed that music could make a difference in people’s lives. After 21 years, that belief is stronger than ever. This celebration isn’t just about looking back at what we’ve accomplished. It’s about celebrating the people who have helped us get here and looking forward to what we can accomplish together in the years ahead."

The October 25 concert is open to the public, with tickets available for $30 and $50. Proceeds from the event will support Music for Humanity’s ongoing programs and initiatives. For those unable to attend in person, the organization encourages support through becoming a Music Supporter or purchasing an advertisement in the anniversary concert playbill.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting MusicForHumanity.org. Admission is open to all, and the event is intended to be an opportunity for longtime supporters, musicians, families, friends, and community members to come together and celebrate the power of music.
