Berlin, September 3, 2026, Motorola has introduced the moto watch ultra, a cutting-edge smartwatch designed to cater to diverse health and fitness needs. The new device, built in collaboration with global fitness technology leader Polar, combines advanced Polar insights with Wear OS by Google and LTE eSIM functionality, marking a significant addition to Motorola's connected ecosystem.
Designed for fitness enthusiasts and health-conscious individuals, the moto watch ultra offers a range of features aimed at enhancing well-being. Key among these are the Serene and Nightly Recharge modes, which provide real-time biofeedback and comprehensive sleep analysis, respectively.
"Polar has been at the forefront of wearable fitness technology, and we're excited to bring its science-backed algorithms to the moto watch ultra," said Brendan Hall, Motorola's Global Head of Connected Devices. "This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing users with tools that help them manage stress, improve their sleep quality, and track their daily activities more effectively."
The watch's comprehensive fitness tracking capabilities include Activity Goal, Activity Score, and Active Intensity Zones, which tailor daily targets and assess movement and heart rate data. Inactivity alerts and smart calorie tracking ensure users stay on track with their health goals. Additionally, users can leverage Google Wallet and NFC support for convenient payments and dual-band GPS for precise navigation.
Another standout feature is the Running Coach, which offers guided workouts and pacing advice for both experienced and new runners. The LTE functionality allows users to remain connected even when they're out and about, making the moto watch ultra the first Motorola smartwatch to offer this capability.
"We've designed the moto watch ultra to be versatile and user-friendly," Hall explained. "With its large 1.5-inch OLED display, robust battery life, and compatibility with various bands, it can adapt to different lifestyles and occasions. Its IP68 and 5ATM water resistance ensures it can withstand a variety of outdoor activities, from swimming to cycling."
The device will be available in the United States starting September 10 on Motorola.com for $349.99. It will also be available at Verizon on September 24 and at T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, AT&T, Xfinity Mobile, and Consumer Cellular in the coming months.
With a wide range of features and a competitive price point, the moto watch ultra is poised to be a strong contender in the crowded smartwatch market. Its advanced fitness and wellness tools, coupled with LTE functionality and Wear OS by Google, make it a versatile tool for health and productivity.
