MorphicBrain AI Seeks Partner to Test AI Work Protection System

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., Sept. 30, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- MorphicBrain AI, a company founded by 83-year-old Daniel Nicolas, is seeking a single enterprise partner to test a new approach to AI protection. The company’s innovative system, Josephine, aims to safeguard the work already performed by AI agents, rather than just stopping or quarantining them.
Nicolas, the founder of MorphicBrain AI, LLC, developed Josephine to address a unique problem: what happens to the work an AI-driven system has already completed when something goes wrong.
Josephine is designed as a protective layer that travels alongside consequential AI-driven work. Unlike existing AI security measures that focus on agent-level protection, Josephine focuses on the work itself. The system is intended to recognize specified deterioration conditions and invoke only pre-authorized protections to preserve management reaction time before consequences become irreversible.
The company has undergone controlled local and synthetic testing and is now seeking one organization willing to conduct a bounded, supervised pilot against real organizational evidence. The objective is not to demonstrate that Josephine works by definition, but to find out whether the proposition survives contact with real consequential work.
Nicolas emphasized that Josephine is not meant to replace existing AI security, governance, or human decision-making. Instead, it operates as a complementary layer to protect the work itself.
The company has also developed an experimental future extension called the Josephine Protection Receipt (JPR), which is designed to preserve an evidence-grounded account of what happened to the work and to the protection afterward. JPR remains separate from the frozen, pilot-ready Josephine MVP and is not part of the current pilot proposition.
MorphicBrain AI is based in Laguna Niguel, California, and the underlying work is the subject of a U.S. provisional patent application covering systems and methods for traveling, evidence-driven protection, verification, and recovery of consequential AI-driven work.
The company is seeking one organization with a consequential AI-assisted or agentic workflow willing to define a bounded supervised pilot. Before the pilot begins, the parties would agree on the work being protected, the evidence available, the organization's authority boundaries, the conditions that would constitute deterioration, the protections the organization authorizes, and what would count as success or failure. Management would remain in control, and failure would be evidence too.
MorphicBrain AI believes that its approach to protecting the work of AI agents could be a significant advancement in the field of AI governance and security. By focusing on the work itself, rather than just the AI, the company hopes to provide a more comprehensive solution to the challenges posed by AI-driven systems.
