At the XIII Congress of the Polish Medical Diaspora, Dr. Waldemar Priebe will present findings on how Annamycin’s lipophilic structure allows it to concentrate in specific tissues, enhancing its antitumor activity.
On September 14, 2026, Dr. Priebe will deliver an invited lecture at the Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy, Polish Academy of Sciences.
Alistar, MD, at the AACR Conference on Pancreatic Cancer: New Frontiers in Biology and Therapeutic Development. This presentation, scheduled for September 25 to 28, 2026, in San Diego, California, will explore how Annamycin’s ability to activate the immune system could contribute to its effectiveness in treating pancreatic cancer.
These presentations follow Moleculin’s ongoing MIRACLE trial, which is evaluating Annamycin in combination with cytarabine (AnnAraC) for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The MIRACLE trial, a pivotal, adaptive design, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2/3 trial, remains the Company’s primary development focus.

Moleculin Biotech, Inc. is advancing a pipeline of therapeutic candidates addressing hard-to-treat tumors and viruses. The Company’s lead program, Annamycin, is a highly efficacious and well-tolerated anthracycline designed to avoid multidrug resistance mechanisms and to lack the cardiotoxicity common with currently prescribed anthracyclines. Annamycin is currently in development for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and soft tissue sarcoma (STS) lung metastases.
The Company’s MIRACLE trial, which began in 2026, is evaluating Annamycin in combination with cytarabine for the treatment of relapsed or refractory AML. Following a successful Phase 1B/2 study, the Company believes it has substantially de-risked the development pathway towards a potential approval for Annamycin for the treatment of AML. This study remains subject to appropriate future filings with potential additional feedback from the FDA and their foreign equivalents.
Additionally, Moleculin is developing WP1066, an Immune/Transcription Modulator capable of inhibiting p-STAT3 and other oncogenic transcription factors while also stimulating a natural immune response, targeting brain tumors, pancreatic and other cancers. The Company also has a portfolio of antimetabolites, including WP1122 for the potential treatment of pathogenic viruses, as well as certain cancer indications.
