Mohegan Sun Continues Its Reign as a Top Casino Destination, Winning Record Ninth ACM "Casino of the Year - Arena" Award
UNCASVILLE, Conn., Mohegan Sun has once again secured a place among the nation's premier casino destinations, earning top rankings in multiple categories during the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. The resort was named a runner-up for Best Casino Hotel, Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas, and Best Casino for Slots, marking its second consecutive year of success in the slots category. Additionally, The Farm Italy at Mohegan Sun took second place in the Best Casino Restaurant category. Mohegan Sun also received recognition for its Players' Club, Momentum, which was named one of the best in the nation.
The USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards are chosen through a two-step process. Initially, a panel of subject matter experts from USA TODAY, 10Best.com, and Gannett properties selects the nominees. Then, public voting takes place over a four-week period on 10Best.com, a site that receives over 5 million monthly visits.
