Mohegan Sun celebrates 30 years with special events and performances

Mohegan Sun, the renowned casino and entertainment destination in Uncasville, Connecticut, is marking its 30th anniversary with a series of special events scheduled for October. The celebrations kick off with a red-carpet event and culminate in a 30th birthday party hosted by DJ Cassidy, featuring performances by Lainey Wilson and Flo Rida.

On October 10, the night begins at 8:00 PM with a free performance by multi-platinum artist Flo Rida in the legendary Wolf Den. The Wolf Den, located at the center of Casino of the Earth, will transform into a vibrant stage for the hip-hop icon to entertain guests. Later that evening, at 10:00 PM, country music superstar Lainey Wilson will take the stage at Mohegan Sun Arena for a performance that will also mark the opening of the 30th Birthday Party in the Uncas Ballroom, hosted by DJ Cassidy.

The red carpet event, which will welcome celebrity guests, is set to run from 10:00 PM to midnight. Among the special appearances will be Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Erin Lichy from The Real Housewives of New York City. Additionally, Kyle Cooke, a star from Summerhouse TV, will perform a set from 11:00 PM to midnight. The birthday party will feature a premium open bar, surprise celebrity appearances, and a lively atmosphere that befits one of the most significant milestones in Mohegan Sun's history.

Earlier in the month, from October 1 to 12, guests can visit the 30th Birthday Bar in the Sky Tower Lobby, where they can enjoy specialty cocktails including The Uncas Legacy, 30 Years Rising, Spirit of the Wolf, and Thirty Moons. The limited-time experience offers a unique opportunity to celebrate Mohegan Sun's three decades of unforgettable memories.

The 30th Birthday Pick 'Em Contest, open to Momentum members, challenges participants to enter a 30-leg parlay from a pool of options for pro football games during the Sunday slate on October 11. The contest will feature moneyline, against the spread, over/under totals, and player props. The grand prize is $30,000, with second and third place winners receiving a luxury watch and baller status, respectively. Entry is free and open from October 6 to 11.

Throughout October, Mohegan Sun restaurants will offer a Signature Stroll menu, featuring throwback favorites such as the Stuffed Portabella Mushroom at Beauty & Essex, the Lobster Fritters at Bow & Arrow Sports Bar, and the Chief Tantaquidgeon sandwich at Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook. These culinary delights honor the property's rich history and celebrate its three-decade legacy.

Mohegan Sun's entertainment lineup for October includes performances by Alanis Morissette, Foo Fighters, and John Mayer, as well as the previously announced iconic lineup of Mohegan Sun Arena events.
