Moderna to Present Late-Breaking Data on Intismeran Autogene at ESMO Congress

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., September 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Moderna, Inc., a leader in mRNA medicine, has announced that it will present late-breaking data on its investigational mRNA-based individualized neoantigen therapy, intismeran autogene, at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026 in Madrid, Spain. The event, scheduled from October 23 to 27, will feature three abstracts related to intismeran autogene.

During the Presidential Symposium on Saturday, October 24, at 4:30 PM Central European Summer Time (10:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time), Georgina V. Long from Sydney, Australia, will present the results of the Phase 3 study of intismeran autogene in the adjuvant treatment of patients with resected stage IIB-IV melanoma. This study compares the therapy with pembrolizumab (pembro) alone, aiming to provide valuable insights into the efficacy of intismeran autogene in this patient population.

In addition to the Presidential Symposium, two poster presentations will be held on Sunday, October 25, and Monday, October 26. On Sunday, at 12:00-12:45 PM Central European Time (CET), David J. Pinato from London, United Kingdom, will present the findings of a Phase I study on the adjuvant use of intismeran autogene combined with FOLFIRINOX in resectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The second poster presentation, scheduled for Monday, October 26, at the same time, will be given by Charu Aggarwal from Philadelphia, United States, on the results of the Phase 3 study INTerpath-014, which evaluates the adjuvant use of intismeran autogene plus subcutaneous pembrolizumab or intismeran monotherapy compared to placebo in completely resected high-risk stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Moderna will host a live webcast on Saturday, October 24, at 7:00 PM CEST (1:00 PM EDT), to discuss these findings and their implications. The webcast will be available on the company’s website and will be archived for at least 30 days following the event.
