MobileX, a customizable wireless service provider, has launched a new hybrid retail model aimed at brands seeking to offer mobile services to their communities. The first brand to benefit from this model is CallSign Mobile, a veteran-founded company dedicated to supporting the service-connected community.
CallSign Mobile operates as a direct-to-consumer wireless service on one of the three major U.S. networks, offering nationwide 5G coverage. The company's mission is to enable everyday economic activities, such as paying a mobile phone bill, to support veterans. From the first day of service, CallSign will direct $1 per line per month to the Signal Impact Fund, which supports organizations and initiatives focused on veterans, including those affected by traumatic brain injuries and post-traumatic stress.
MobileX, headquartered in Orange County, California, is behind the technology powering CallSign Mobile. The company was founded by Peter Adderton, who also established Boost Mobile and Digital Turbine. MobileX's service uses artificial intelligence to predict data needs, ensuring reliable speed and service while reducing costs for customers.
Peter Adderton, the founder and CEO of MobileX, expressed pride in partnering with CallSign Mobile. "We're proud to partner with a company whose mission is to serve those who served. This is as noble as it gets. Giving organizations like CallSign the technology and wireless experience to turn that connection into something bigger is an exciting next step for us."
CallSign Mobile was founded by Adam Marr and Charlie Hill, both former U.S. Army aviators. The company aims to provide a wireless service that keeps the veteran community connected while giving back to those in need. The Signal Impact Fund will support various initiatives and organizations that benefit veterans, ensuring that every line of service contributes to their well-being.
The launch of CallSign Mobile under the MobileX hybrid retail model represents a significant step in extending wireless services to communities that need them most. By leveraging MobileX's technology, CallSign can focus on building a strong brand and customer experience while making a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans.
