Mitesco, Inc., a growth-oriented technology company focused on improving efficiency and access in various industries, has announced the appointment of Salvatore "Sal" Carillo as National Sales Manager. This move comes as the firm prepares for a major rollout of its AI-powered real estate productivity platform, Robo Agent, in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Carillo, who currently serves as Managing Director of Mayell Real Estate in the New York City metropolitan area, will lead the national sales strategy for Robo Agent and other software development projects. His responsibilities will include establishing regional sales operations in the Northeast, West Coast, and Southeast, as well as fostering relationships with key industry partners.
"Sal brings a unique blend of hands-on real estate experience and a deep understanding of agent and brokerage operations," said Brian Valania, CEO of Mitesco, Inc. "His background will be crucial as we move Robo Agent into broader market deployment and build experienced regional sales teams across the country."
Robo Agent is designed to enhance the productivity of real estate agents by helping them identify priorities, manage opportunities, and improve follow-up execution. The platform is currently being evaluated by several well-known real estate agencies with national presences. According to Mitesco, its sales professionals will be licensed real estate agents with at least 10 years of industry experience, ensuring they can effectively demonstrate the value of Robo Agent to potential clients.
"Robo Agent is being built around the way successful real estate professionals actually work," Carillo noted. "I look forward to helping assemble an experienced national sales organization and introducing the platform to agents, teams, and brokerages in the coming months."
Mitesco's broader strategy includes considering flexible transaction structures to address the capital constraints often faced by emerging companies. "As a publicly held company, we have some growth opportunities not generally available to other technology entities," Valania explained. "These structures may include cash, equity, or a combination of both, potentially involving Mitesco taking an equity interest in a licensing candidate or vice versa."
Centcore, Mitesco's dedicated data center business unit, continues to provide secure, scalable cloud services. Meanwhile, Vero Technology Ventures, Mitesco's venture arm, is focused on productivity-driven cloud technologies for business and government applications.
"Robo Agent is an exciting addition to our portfolio," said Valania. "Its development underscores our commitment to leveraging technology to improve the real estate industry's productivity and efficiency."
The press release concludes with forward-looking statements, acknowledging the risks and uncertainties inherent in the company's plans, including potential execution risks and financial market conditions.
