KOBE, Japan, Sept. 03, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Micware Co., Ltd., a Japan-based provider of software development services and innovative IT solutions focused on the automotive and mobility sectors, has unveiled a new growth strategy centered around two strategic platforms: micAuto and DynaPlanet. This move signals a shift from individual development projects to a broader deployment of the company’s technology assets, aiming to capitalize on the convergence of mobility and digital spaces.

micAuto, a platform designed to connect people, cities, and mobility through movement, will leverage in-vehicle software assets to support original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in their transformation efforts. Micware plans to expand its business areas beyond in-vehicle infotainment systems (IVI) into autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), connected services, and quality assurance. The company envisions a future where mobility systems can understand and support their surroundings in a more intuitive and context-aware manner.

DynaPlanet, on the other hand, is a digital three-dimensional space that aims to connect "Real 3D Interiors," "Real 3D Cities," and "Virtual 3D Worlds." This platform will provide spatial data, licenses, and solutions for enterprises and local governments, while also offering an open space for users and creators to participate in the development of virtual worlds and games. Micware hopes to create a digital space ecosystem where content, users, enterprises, and creators can interact and generate value.

Both platforms will work in tandem to promote value creation across various domains, including mobility, cities, facilities, and logistics. Sensor data from mobility will be used to generate and update spatial data, and analyses and simulations conducted in digital spaces will be applied back to real-world services. This integration is expected to enhance the company's business model, transitioning it from a project-based approach to one that focuses on delivering value through services, licensing, and data provision.

Founded in 2003, Micware has built a strong foundation in automotive software and has established long-term relationships with major OEMs, including Honda and Toyota. The company has been ranked 9th among Japan-based Tier 1 suppliers in the IVI market by Frost & Sullivan. With its new growth strategy, Micware aims to leverage its engineering capabilities, proprietary technologies, and experience to expand its reach and impact.

By positioning itself as a leader in the intersection of mobility and digital spaces, Micware is setting the stage for a transformative shift in how it serves the automotive and broader transportation industries.
