Michael Wekerle Increases Holdings in Orion Digital Corp

Michael Wekerle, the Acquiror, has announced updated ownership details for Orion Digital Corp., a company listed on the NASDAQ and the Toronto Stock Exchange. According to the press release, Wekerle, through his company Wek Corp., acquired an additional 441,900 common shares of Orion Digital Corp. on August 28 and September 11, 2026. These acquisitions were made at a weighted average price of approximately C$1.4208 per share, totaling approximately C$627,845.20.

Prior to these acquisitions, Wekerle held 2,503,270 common shares, representing approximately 10.53% of the issued and outstanding shares. Following the acquisitions, his holdings increased to 2,945,170 common shares, which now represent approximately 12.38% of the outstanding shares. The acquisitions were completed on the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange and certain alternative markets where the common shares are posted for trading.

The press release also notes that the Acquiror’s earlier disclosures, made on May 12, 2026, had to be corrected. The initial report indicated that Wekerle had acquired 2,420,959 common shares, representing approximately 10.13% of the outstanding shares. However, after a reconciliation across registered holders and brokerage accounts, the corrected holdings following those purchases were found to be 2,347,959 common shares, or approximately 9.83% of the outstanding shares.

Based on these corrected historical holdings, the Acquiror’s ownership in Orion Digital Corp. following the recent acquisitions represents a change of more than 2% on a non-diluted basis since the acquisitions completed on May 6 and 7, 2026. The press release states that the common shares were acquired for investment purposes and that the Acquiror may continue to acquire or sell additional securities of Orion, depending on market conditions, reformulation of plans, and other relevant factors.
