Michael K Bender Releases SAT Prep Books

Michael K Bender, a full-time writer who also tutors advanced students, has released a new two-book SAT® program designed to help students master the Reading and Writing section of the digital SAT.

It includes a 32-question Readiness Diagnostic to help students identify where they need to start. The 11 lessons cover every question type, each with a strategy, a worked example, and common traps. The guide also features two review drills and a full-length, 54-question practice test. The workbook, "Prove It!," contains 540 original questions, each with a full explanation, and is structured to help students develop the habit of proving each answer.

The digital SAT's adaptive format, with its changing passages and question proportions, is addressed in both books. Each question in the workbook is accompanied by its own short passage, and the topic changes with every question. Both books follow this format and its adaptive modules.

One of the key features of the program is that every correct answer is proven with words on the page or a grammar rule, while every wrong answer fails that test somewhere. The workbook drills this habit across 540 questions, ensuring students are well-prepared for the test's demands.

The guide also includes a four-week study plan, pacing strategies, a mistake log, and 60 high-utility vocabulary words. The workbook contains photocopiable answer sheets for teachers and tutors, making it a versatile resource for both students and educators.

The program is designed to improve scores, but the results depend on the student's own effort. Both books are available from Amazon and IngramSpark, and more information can be found at www.mkbender.com.
