Mente Group Upgrades Aircraft Values Platform with Market Intelligence

Mente Group, a leading provider of aviation services, has upgraded its Aircraft Values Platform (MVP) to offer enhanced market intelligence and residual value projections. This upgrade, which follows Mente’s move to a unified family brand, aims to provide users with a comprehensive view of their aircraft’s market position and assist in critical decision-making processes.

MVP now combines Mente Group’s proprietary appraisal history, transaction records, and consulting intelligence into a single resource. According to Brian Proctor, the founder and CEO of Mente Group, the updated platform is designed to help users assess their aircraft’s market value and prepare for decisions involving replacement, upgrades, insurance, and capital budgets.

The platform allows subscribers to review supply, demand, and pricing movements for their specific aircraft make and model. Residual value curves, developed from historical appraisal data, provide future projections that help flight departments evaluate replacement cycles and budget for future aircraft needs. Additionally, MVP helps users assess how major value drivers, such as aircraft equipment and upgrades, may affect value. Comparable transaction information and certified appraisal data support defensible valuations for insurance discussions.

For directors of aviation, MVP offers a clear picture of an aircraft’s current value, market direction, and expected residual value at replacement.

MVP also enables users to test the increased value of major value driver (MVD) items, such as L5, Starlink, Ka Band, QTA Thrust Reversers, and others. This feature is essential for justifying the installation of value-added options and making informed decisions. The platform is built on real appraisal and transaction data, providing users with trusted numbers that can influence executive team planning.

Existing Mente clients participated in beta testing and helped shape the enhanced platform.

Mente Group, founded in 2009, has advised clients on billions of dollars in aircraft transactions and is recognized for its independent advisory services, market intelligence, and technical expertise. The company provides comprehensive aviation services, including strategy, aircraft acquisitions and sales, operational consulting, appraisals, aircraft management, and charter. Mente Group will be present at the NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas, where the International Aircraft Dealer Association (IADA) will be exhibiting at Booth 2877.
