TORONTO, Sept. 08, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Marin Katusa, the Chief Executive Officer of Carbon Streaming Corporation, has acquired an additional 1,180,000 common shares of the company in a private transaction, raising his total ownership to 7,229,000 common shares and 780,000 common share purchase warrants. This acquisition marks a 2.41% increase in his ownership on a non-diluted basis and a 2.37% increase on a partially diluted basis, relative to the company's issued and outstanding common shares.
The transaction was executed at a purchase price of $0.92 per share, for a total expenditure of $1,085,600. Prior to this acquisition, Katusa held 6,049,000 common shares and 780,000 common share purchase warrants, representing approximately 12.33% and 13.7% of the company’s issued and outstanding common shares on a non-diluted and partially diluted basis, respectively. Following the acquisition, Katusa’s stake in the company increased to 14.74% on a non-diluted basis and 16.07% on a partially diluted basis.
The shares were acquired for investment purposes, and Katusa stated, "This investment reflects my continued commitment to Carbon Streaming’s mission and the potential for growth within the carbon credits market. Depending on market conditions and other factors, I may from time to time acquire additional securities, exercise convertible securities, dispose of some or all of my existing or additional securities, or continue to hold my securities."
