A Miami-Dade County jury has awarded $1,605,000 to Dairo Herrera, a warehouse worker who was seriously injured after being struck and run over by a forklift. The accident occurred on February 15, 2024, at a flower delivery company where Herrera was employed.
Herrera suffered a severe foot fracture and damage to his right shoulder. He underwent surgery to repair the foot injury and another operation to address the shoulder damage. The legal team representing Herrera, Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath, joined the case less than three months before the trial, working alongside co-counsel Justin Schneider of Schneider Injury Firm.
