Luca Mining Corp. has announced significant exploration results from its Tahuehueto mine, located in Durango State, Mexico. The company’s latest drill campaign has uncovered high-grade mineralization, particularly at the Catorce Zone, an underexplored area that has not seen any drilling since 2008.

The first surface hole drilled at the Catorce Zone returned 9.9 meters of 5.39 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent (AuEq), including 1.0 meter of 27.56 g/t AuEq. This strong result highlights the potential of this previously underexplored zone. The Catorce Zone is interpreted to be a southern extension of the Creston Vein system and is located approximately 250 meters from existing underground development.

At the Creston Vein, continued high-grade mineralization was observed, with several significant intercepts. Drillhole DDH26-248 returned 6.2 meters of 6.37 g/t AuEq, including 1.1 meters of 20.60 g/t AuEq within a broader interval of 2.9 meters of 11.83 g/t AuEq. Drillhole DDH26-249 reported 3.4 meters of 4.77 g/t AuEq, with a narrower but high-grade section of 0.8 meters of 11.67 g/t AuEq. Additionally, drillhole DDH26-250 intersected 1.3 meters of 13.53 g/t AuEq, along with a secondary intersection of 1.3 meters of 4.50 g/t AuEq.

Luca Mining’s exploration efforts also expanded upon the Creston Vein by targeting a previously untested zone approximately 30 to 40 meters below active mine workings on Level 23. Drillholes DDH26-SU-17 through DDH26-SU-20 were designed to explore this area, and they all intersected the Creston Vein, demonstrating excellent continuity and potential for further mineralization at depth.

Near the Perdido Vein, additional mineralization was confirmed, with 0.9 meters of 7.60 g/t AuEq reported in hole TRT26-07. This result supports the company’s ongoing exploration efforts in close proximity to current mining faces.

Luca Mining has noted that these results reinforce the view that Tahuehueto has significant expansion potential beyond the current resource areas. The company plans to continue drilling in multiple target areas, with two contracted diamond drill rigs currently on site and a third rig en route to the site. Additionally, a Luca-owned underground rig is being used to define mineralization for the near-term mine plan.

"We are excited by the potential of the Catorce Zone and the continued high-grade intercepts from the Creston Vein," stated Paul D. Gray, Vice President of Exploration. "The results from this new exploration campaign demonstrate the potential to expand mineralization at depth and beyond the current resource areas, supporting our view of the unrealized exploration potential across the property."

With 62 underground holes totaling 11,182 meters and 33 surface holes totaling 6,224 meters completed to date, Luca Mining continues to build on its exploration successes. The company’s 2026 exploration program is designed to expand known mineral resources, add near-term mineable material, and define the vertical and lateral extent of mineralization, while also testing multiple underexplored vein systems.

These findings indicate that the Tahuehueto mine remains a promising exploration target with significant potential for further discoveries.
