LQWD Technologies Corp., a provider of enterprise-grade, AI-driven infrastructure for the Bitcoin Lightning Network, has announced plans to extend the expiry date of outstanding warrants. The company has applied to the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) to amend the terms of 1,666,667 outstanding common share purchase warrants issued in a non-brokered private placement that took place on September 12, 2025.
Under the proposed amendment, the expiry date of the warrants will be extended from September 24, 2026, to September 24, 2028. The exercise price of the warrants, currently set at $2.00 per share, will remain unchanged. All other terms of the warrants will remain the same. The company noted that approximately 1.2% of the warrants are held by insiders, and none have been exercised to date.

The company also mentioned that if the volume-weighted average trading price of the common shares on the TSXV reaches or exceeds $2.50 for a period of 10 consecutive trading days, the company will have the right to accelerate the expiry date of the warrants by giving written notice that the warrants will expire on a date not less than 10 days from the date of notice.
