Loop Industries has appointed Jeff Geygan as Chairman of the Board, a move that underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its governance structure and focusing on commercial execution. Geygan, bringing extensive experience in capital markets and public-company governance, will lead the Board’s oversight of corporate strategy, governance, capital allocation, and shareholder interests. The change aims to enable Daniel Solomita, Loop’s Founder and CEO, to concentrate fully on executing the Company’s business plan and advancing its projects in India and Europe.

Solomita, who has previously held both the Chairman and CEO roles, will continue to serve as CEO and a Director. He will remain responsible for commercial execution, including advancing Loop's planned projects in India and Europe, strategic partnerships, customer relationships, and the Company’s financing strategy. Geygan, who has served as Chairman of Climb Global Solutions and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, will focus on leading the Board and providing strong oversight of corporate strategy, governance, and capital allocation.

"We are excited about this new structure, which represents a natural evolution for Loop as we move from technology development to commercial and project execution," said Solomita. "Jeff's disciplined approach to public-company strategy and institutional investor perspective will be invaluable as we pursue the next stage of Loop's development."

Geygan echoed Solomita’s sentiments, stating, "Daniel's knowledge of Loop's technology, customers, partners, and commercialization opportunities is unique, and his time is best spent executing the Company's business plan. I will focus on leading the Board and providing strong oversight of corporate strategy, governance, and capital allocation. This division of responsibilities strengthens Loop's governance and positions the Company for its next stage of growth."

Loop Industries is a technology company dedicated to accelerating the world's shift toward sustainable PET plastic and polyester fiber. The company's patented technology depolymerizes waste PET plastic and polyester fiber into base building-block monomers, DMT and MEG, which are then purified and polymerized to create virgin-quality PET resin suitable for food-grade packaging and polyester fiber. This process allows customers to meet their sustainability objectives while enabling infinite recycling without degradation in quality.

The Company’s common shares are listed on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol "LOOP." Investors and security holders are urged to read the company's filings with the SEC for additional information, including risk factors and forward-looking statements.
