LinqAlpha, an AI-native financial intelligence company, has partnered with KOSCOM, the technology subsidiary of the Korea Exchange, to expand access to Korean market data for global investors. The collaboration aims to leverage KOSCOM's financial data and market infrastructure with LinqAlpha’s AI-powered investment analysis technology.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), LinqAlpha and KOSCOM will collaborate on providing financial data, developing AI-powered investment analysis content and services, and identifying joint customer needs. The partnership is set to start with ETF data, with plans to expand into other financial datasets and applications over time.
The agreement comes amid growing international interest in Korean equities. Korea is playing an increasingly important role in the global semiconductor and AI value chain, attracting more foreign investors. LinqAlpha's CEO, Hojun Choi, said, "Global investors are paying increasing attention to Korea, but accessing local data can still be challenging. Our partnership with KOSCOM is an important step toward bridging that gap."
LinqAlpha, founded by a team including former Goldman Sachs investment professionals, an MIT computer science PhD, and UC Berkeley MFE alumni, serves over 70 financial institutions across the United States, Europe, and Asia. KOSCOM, established in 1977, provides technology products and services to the Korean capital markets, supporting securities firms, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
The partnership is expected to make trusted Korean market data more accessible and actionable for institutional investors globally. Both companies are optimistic about the potential of AI in enhancing investment analysis and decision-making processes.
