Lingverse Unveils iKairos, a Modular AI Wearable at IFA 2026

BERLIN, Lingverse, a Singapore-based smart hardware and AI company, unveiled its latest innovation, the modular AI wearable iKairos, and its accompanying operating system, LifeOS, at IFA 2026, Berlin’s premier consumer electronics trade fair.

iKairos, a circular pendant that functions as a "Neural Core," can be inserted into a variety of hardware bodies and accessories, marking a significant step in the company’s mission to integrate AI into everyday life. The device’s unique design allows it to capture multiple perspectives, learning from the user’s personal preferences, routines, and surrounding environment. At its launch, iKairos will be housed in a small desktop robot for observation and interaction, but users can also wear it as a necklace, providing a different perspective on the device’s functionalities.

Unlike other wearable AI devices on the market, iKairos offers a multi-perspective approach, enabling it to gather richer contextual data about the user, their surroundings, and even their relationships. This data is processed through LifeOS, Lingverse’s human-machine interaction operating system, which surfaces useful suggestions tailored to the user's preferences and behaviors.

LifeOS centralizes observations about the user’s routines, personality, and relationships, analyzing how these factors influence the user’s daily life. The system takes periodic snapshots of the user’s work routines and lifestyle habits, as well as their social and personal relationships, to build a deeper understanding of their everyday life. This allows iKairos to provide context-aware assistance, recognizing changes in the user’s routines and patterns over time.

For instance, if a user frequently discusses sailing but always postpones lessons, iKairos can recommend scheduling a beginner’s course based on this recurring behavior. Similarly, if a designer is inspired by the intricate textures of an exhibited artifact, iKairos can recall the images, saving the user time and effort in searching for similar visual cues.

The modular design of iKairos opens the door to a broader long-term vision for Lingverse. Over time, diverse real-world observations could contribute to the development of embodied intelligence, enabling iKairos to serve as the core intelligence for various physical forms, from wearables to home robots. This could allow future robots to immediately draw on an existing understanding of a user’s habits and preferences, enhancing their interactions with the environment and users.

Voice data is handled locally, and cloud processing is only used when explicitly authorized by the user.
