Liberty CDJR, a Philadelphia-based automotive dealership, is set to auction a brand-new white 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The all-electric vehicle, with its dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain producing up to 496 horsepower and capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph in approximately 4.7 seconds, will be up for grabs with an opening bid of just $1. The auction will run until December 1, 2026, on GivingTuesday, a global generosity movement celebrated each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
The vehicle is part of a charity auction benefiting FamFrequency Productions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports young people in Philadelphia through music education and workforce development programs. Each year, FamFrequency provides over 415 hours of hands-on music education, mentorship, and entrepreneurship training to its student-artists, aiming to build professional skills and create pathways to economic mobility in the music industry.
Christian Serbes, general manager of Liberty CDJR, expressed the dealership's commitment to the Philadelphia community.
The Charger Daytona R/T, a model known for its performance-focused design and advanced technology, features a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a digital instrument display, ambient interior lighting, and an Alpine audio system. The vehicle also offers an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 308 miles, making it both a powerful and practical choice for potential bidders.
To participate in the auction, interested parties must register through BetterWorld, the nonprofit fundraising platform hosting the event. The auction will be open to the public, allowing visitors to preview the vehicle, review its specifications, and share the auction with their social networks. The Charger Daytona is also on display at Liberty CDJR’s showroom in the Philadelphia Airport Auto Mall on Essington Avenue.
Lanisha Otuonye, co-founder of FamFrequency Productions, emphasized the importance of the auction for the organization’s mission.
The auction will run from November 1 through December 1, 2026, and interested bidders can visit the dealership’s website at Liberty CDJR for more details about the auction, the vehicle, and the bidding process.
