At the IFA 2026 tech fair in Berlin, LiberNovo showcased its innovative Maxis Series seating, designed specifically for larger users. The event, which runs from September 4 to 8, focuses on how technology is transforming daily life and connectivity. LiberNovo, founded in 1924, is one of the exhibitors at this year's IFA, presenting its ergonomic seating options in Hall 7, Stand 7.2a-105.
The Maxis Series is the star of the LiberNovo exhibit. Unlike conventional chairs that are scaled up from a standard design, Maxis was created to meet the needs of taller, broader, and heavier individuals. With a 52 cm (20.5-inch) seat depth and wider cushion, it offers ample space and support for extended work, gaming, and creative sessions. The chair's reinforced frame and aluminum-alloy base provide stability, while its four-direction armrests enhance comfort.
LiberNovo offers three models of the Maxis Series: Maxis Manual, Maxis Electric, and Maxis Airflow. All versions feature a five-stage recline mechanism, allowing users to adjust the seat from 105° to 160°. Maxis Manual includes a knob for setting the lumbar depth. The Maxis Electric model adds motorized lumbar support and OmniStretch guided back stretching, while Maxis Airflow includes active seat ventilation to keep users comfortable in warmer environments.
In addition to the Maxis Series, LiberNovo also displayed the LiberNovo Omni Pro and Omni SE. The Omni Pro combines motorized lumbar adjustment, OmniStretch, and Active Airflow, while the manually adjusted Omni SE serves as an accessible entry point to LiberNovo's dynamic ergonomic approach.
LiberNovo's commitment to inclusivity and well-being extends beyond the exhibition floor. The company has donated Omni ergonomic chairs to Special Olympics New York, supporting office teams in Albany, New York City, and Long Island. This gesture underscores LiberNovo's dedication to designing seating solutions that cater to real human needs, whether in the studio, office, or on the field.
