LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Lemonaid Health, a digital pharmacy and telehealth platform, has expanded its reach by acquiring the fitness and longevity business of Dr. B. This move adds a national gym partner network of over 5 million members and a longevity and metabolic-health patient base to Lemonaid's existing services.
The acquisition, announced by Kyle Pretsch, CEO of Lemonaid Health, brings the company a significant network of gym partners and members.
Dr. B, founded by Cyrus Massoumi, has built one of the first scaled "gym-as-clinic" models in the U.S. Its partnerships with national fitness brands allow members to complete a short online consultation and, where clinically appropriate, receive a Letter of Medical Necessity to pay for their membership with pre-tax HSA/FSA dollars. The acquisition makes Lemonaid the clinical and pharmacy partner behind Dr. B's in-gym programs, which help members use HSA/FSA dollars for fitness and access clinical care for metabolic health and healthy aging.
Lemonaid Health, with its licensed clinicians in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., and an in-house pharmacy, now offers a comprehensive suite of services spanning primary care, hormone health, sexual health, and mental health. This expansion means that a gym member's first consult can become an ongoing care relationship.
According to Pretsch, the acquisition is part of Lemonaid's strategy to pair a licensed clinical and pharmacy engine with partners who already own the customer relationship.
Existing Dr. B members and gym partners will move onto Lemonaid's platform over the coming months with no interruption in care. Medical records are transferring securely to Lemonaid, and members will receive transition details by email before any change to how they access their care. Gym partners keep their existing member offers and gain partner reporting on enrollment and engagement.
Lemonaid plans to expand its longevity and preventive-health offerings for partner members through Q4 2026. This move is part of the company's broader strategy to integrate clinical care with fitness and wellness, providing a more holistic approach to health management.
The acquisition underscores Lemonaid's commitment to expanding its reach and offering a comprehensive healthcare solution. With this addition, Lemonaid Health is well-positioned to serve a broader audience, combining the benefits of fitness and clinical care in a single platform.
