LEIFRAS Secures New Contracts to Expand School Club Activity Support Across Japan

The contracts, signed with Sapporo City in Hokkaido, Adachi Ward and Edogawa Ward in Tokyo, Urayasu City in Chiba Prefecture, and Miyawaka City in Fukuoka Prefecture, aim to accelerate the nationwide transition of school club activities.

The contracts are part of Japan's "Reform Implementation Period" for school club activity reform, which began in fiscal year 2026. In Sapporo City, Leifras will manage community club activities and assign instructors, both on weekends and weekdays, at approximately 10 to 15 municipal junior high schools. This pilot program aims to identify and assess issues for establishing a sustainable operating framework. In Adachi Ward, the company will provide integrated instruction and operational management for 30 club activities at 10 municipal junior high schools. This includes technical instruction, tournament procedures, and communications with parents through a dedicated application.

Edogawa Ward will see Leifras progressively manage and provide instruction for one club activity per school as a weekend community club activity. The company will build a comprehensive ward-wide regional transition framework, including ICT tools for communications and safety management. In Urayasu City, the focus is on expanding cultural clubs beyond sports, creating new opportunities for children to pursue a wide range of interests. Meanwhile, in Miyawaka City, Leifras will provide end-to-end support for 11 club activities, including safety management, insurance procedures, and coordination among schools, the city, and parents.
