LAURION Reports Significant Gold and Polymetallic Intercepts at Ishkōday Project

LAURION Mineral Exploration Inc. has announced the results of its ongoing 2026 Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the Ishkōday Gold and Polymetallic Project, located in Northwestern Ontario. The company has reported multiple gold and polymetallic intercepts, including significant grades of gold, silver, copper, and zinc.
In drill hole LBX26-106, the company identified a 3.75-meter interval grading 0.568 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, 12.40 g/t of silver, 0.46% copper, and 1.75% zinc. This interval includes a 2.30-meter sub-interval grading 0.886 g/t gold, 19.26 g/t silver, 0.73% copper, and 1.64% zinc. Additionally, a 0.50-meter sub-interval within the same hole returned 1.730 g/t gold, 43.20 g/t silver, 1.51% copper, and 3.40% zinc.
The company also reported a 4.70-meter interval in LBX26-106 grading 0.582 g/t gold, 2.53 g/t silver, 0.07% copper, and 0.93% zinc. Another significant result was a 2.70-meter interval grading 0.742 g/t gold, 3.88 g/t silver, 0.10% copper, and 1.58% zinc, which includes a 0.50-meter sub-interval grading 3.220 g/t gold, 9.70 g/t silver, 0.30% copper, and 6.29% zinc.
In a separate drill hole, LBX26-107, the company reported a 1.15-meter interval grading 1.374 g/t gold, 10.10 g/t silver, 0.49% copper, and 2.01% zinc. This interval includes a 0.50-meter sub-interval grading 1.170 g/t gold, 20.10 g/t silver, 1.03% copper, and 3.64% zinc. The hole also returned a 2.90-meter interval grading 0.608 g/t gold, 11.93 g/t silver, 0.34% copper, and 0.93% zinc, which includes a 0.80-meter sub-interval grading 1.975 g/t gold, 39.50 g/t silver, 1.45% copper, and 2.72% zinc.
The Ishkōday Project is a 100%-owned property located approximately 220 kilometers northeast of Thunder Bay and 28 kilometers northeast of Beardmore, Northwestern Ontario. The project covers an area of about 57 square kilometers within the Beardmore, Geraldton and Onaman, Tashota Greenstone Belts. Historical and modern exploration programs have completed over 98,000 meters of drilling, confirming a large and evolving gold-rich base metal mineral system.
LAURION's 2026 Phase 1 drill program is designed to systematically advance the A-Zone, which may support the evaluation of a potential maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The program is being informed by an independent structural gap analysis of the A-Zone, which identified five priority target areas where additional drilling may address key gaps in the existing drill database and further strengthen geological understanding.
The expanded program, which has increased the planned drilling from 3,865 meters to 5,605 meters across 22 drill holes, is being conducted to test the A-Zone and McLeod mineralized systems at depth and along strike, tighten drill spacing, and evaluate priority geophysical targets. The company is using this framework, together with ongoing drill results, to prioritize near-term drilling as it continues to systematically advance the A-Zone toward its potential maiden MRE.
LAURION employs an industry standard system of external standards, blanks, and duplicates for all of its sampling, in addition to the QA/QC protocol employed by the laboratory. The company is focused on strengthening geological confidence, expanding the scale of the mineral system, and positioning the project for a potential future MRE.
