LALAL.AI Unveils On-Device AI Integration at IBC2026

LALAL.AI, the Webby-winning AI-powered audio processing company, has made a significant leap in its technology by unveiling its first embedded hardware integration at IBC2026. The company has partnered with Neko Engineering to integrate its stem-separation engine into the Neko, a compact wireless AI mini studio designed for guitar players.

At the IBC2026 exhibition, LALAL.AI showcased its technology running fully offline inside the Neko device. Visitors to Stand 14.C45 in Hall 14 (Future Tech) at RAI Amsterdam could witness the Neko device separating a track into vocals, drums, bass, and guitar in real time, without an internet connection. This marks a shift from LALAL.AI's previous browser-based tools and studio plugins into on-device AI, with separation running entirely offline in real time.

Nik Pogorsky, co-founder of LALAL.AI, explained, "For six years, our tech has lived in a browser tab. Putting it inside a physical device, running in real time with nothing sent to a server, is a different kind of product decision. It's a signal that separation-quality AI doesn't have to depend on the cloud to be useful."

The Neko device, with LALAL.AI's Stem Splitter built in, is now available for pre-order at a reduced price of $349, down from its $499 retail price. Shipping to backers is set to begin in 2027.

LALAL.AI's technology will also be demonstrated across various production scenarios, including field audio cleanup, dialogue isolation for dubbing, and stem extraction from a final mix. The company's VST plugin, which runs inside digital audio workstations (DAWs) and non-linear editors (NLEs) including Ableton Live, Reaper, DaVinci Resolve (Fairlight), and Adobe Premiere Pro, will also be showcased. This plugin allows for on-premises processing, useful for studios and broadcasters with strict data-security and NDA requirements.

LALAL.AI's Voice Cleaner, Stem Splitter, Voice Cloner, and related tools are now available for use. The Neko device, with LALAL.AI's Stem Splitter, is set to revolutionize the way musicians and audio professionals work, offering real-time, offline processing with no cloud dependency.
