La' James International College Opens Doors to New Careers This Weekend

FORT DODGE, IA, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- La' James International College, a leading beauty school with five campuses across Iowa, is inviting the community to explore new career opportunities during its Open House Week, taking place from October 27 to 31. The week-long event is designed to give prospective students a hands-on look at the training and skills taught in the college's beauty and wellness programs.

The week kicks off on Tuesday, October 27, with a series of classes led by LJIC instructors. Attendees can participate in Brow Mapping, Lash Extensions, and Tinting and Lamination sessions from 10am to 12pm. On Wednesday, October 28, the Elevate with Gelevate Nail Class will be offered from 1pm to 3pm. Thursday, October 29, will feature a Color Theory class from 4pm to 6pm. The week concludes on Friday, October 30, with a Makeup Special Effects class from 10am to 12pm.

The highlight of the Open House Week is the college's signature Open House event, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, from 9am to 2pm. Attendees can reserve a one-on-one Career Planning Session (CPS) to meet with the admissions team, enjoy refreshments, and receive a special goodie bag if they enroll on-site.

Ahead of the Open House Week, LJIC will host a Career Fair on Thursday, October 22, from 10am to 12pm, exclusively for current students and alumni. The event connects students and graduates directly with industry professionals, offering opportunities to network, explore job openings, and build relationships that can shape their careers after graduation.
