Kyocera invests in VVater for sustainable water solutions
Global technology leader Kyocera has made a strategic investment in VVater, a company renowned for its advanced water treatment solutions. This partnership aims to drive innovation and sustainability across several key areas, including data centers, manufacturing operations, and the development of VVater's whole-home water purification systems.
The investment will focus on three primary areas of collaboration: 1. Data Centers: Kyocera and VVater plan to implement advanced cooling-water treatment and closed-loop water reuse systems in data centers. These systems will leverage Kyocera's technology to enhance VVater’s proven water treatment capabilities, ensuring more efficient and sustainable operations. 2. Advanced Manufacturing: VVater’s treatment and reuse systems will be evaluated and deployed across Kyocera’s global manufacturing sites, where high-purity water is essential for producing fine ceramics, semiconductor packages, and electronic components. 3. The Shield: There is potential for the development and industrialization of VVater’s whole-home residential purification system, combining VVater’s treatment platform with Kyocera’s precision manufacturing expertise.

As consumer trust in tap water diminishes, VVater’s chemical-free platform offers a compelling solution.
