Lakewood, CO, Oct. 05, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- KRTL Holding Group Inc. has taken a significant step forward in its development of the RAYEL platform with the execution of a definitive strategic partnership agreement with CIQ. This agreement marks a pivotal transition for RAYEL, moving the project from a memorandum of understanding to a binding framework that will support U.S. commercialization, manufacturing evaluation, strategic partnerships, regulatory coordination, and capital development.

KRTL Holding Group, through its subsidiaries KRTL International Corp. and KRTL Biotech Inc., has been building the necessary infrastructure around RAYEL. This includes strengthening U.S. regulatory and pharmaceutical capabilities, organizing the platform’s technical and commercial record, and opening discussions with universities regarding potential research collaboration.

Under the agreement, KRTL will lead the U.S. commercialization pathway for RAYEL, while CIQ continues its scientific and technical role. The parties will coordinate strategy and make material project decisions together. KRTL is evaluating multiple potential uses and commercial pathways for RAYEL, including its documented beverage-facing TTB pathway and other pharmaceutical/API-oriented applications. The company aims to evaluate where the platform, its scientific record, and future research may have the strongest commercial fit.

The RAYEL platform is positioned within a growing global market for plant-derived extracts. According to MarketsandMarkets, the global plant extracts market is estimated to be approximately $47.54 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $85.28 billion by 2030, representing a 12.4% compound annual growth rate. KRTL has been working to build the capabilities needed to evaluate RAYEL within this broader environment.

KRTL Biotech Inc. has added Justin Abril as President-Designate and Strategic Regulatory & API Consultant, bringing expertise in regulatory strategy, pharmaceutical/API development planning, API/CMC documentation, controlled-substance compliance planning, import/export pathway review, and partner diligence. KRTL is also in active discussions with universities regarding potential research collaboration related to RAYEL, creating another potential avenue for scientific and technical development around the platform.

The focus now turns to translating the framework into qualified opportunities. KRTL and CIQ will continue developing the RAYEL technical and commercial record while evaluating research, manufacturing, strategic, and commercial relationships in the United States. As individual opportunities mature, they can move into project-specific agreements appropriate to the particular pathway.

Any regulated manufacturing, controlled-substance handling, testing, importation, formulation, pharmaceutical/API development, or distribution would be performed through appropriately qualified and authorized external parties.
