PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Kroll Settlement Administration LLC has announced a $900,000 settlement has been reached with American Renal Management LLC d/b/a Innovative Renal Care (IRC) in a class action lawsuit stemming from a data breach that occurred between February 21, 2024, and March 1, 2024. The lawsuit, which is pending before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, alleges potential unauthorized access to sensitive personally identifiable information of IRC employees, former employees, and patients.

According to the settlement, the breach is believed to have compromised data between those dates, leading to a class action lawsuit that was filed in February 2025. The plaintiffs allege negligence, while IRC denies any wrongdoing. If your personal information was potentially impacted, you are included as a settlement class member.

The settlement includes the creation of a $900,000 Settlement Fund to provide financial and credit protection to those whose information was compromised. Settlement class members will receive cash payments and two years of credit monitoring services. Valid claims must be submitted by December 21, 2026, with claims accepted online at www.IRCSettlement.com or by mail postmarked by the same date.

Cash payments will cover documented out-of-pocket losses up to $5,000 per settlement class member, plus an estimated $100 pro rata cash payment. Claim forms must be submitted by the deadline, and failure to do so will result in forfeiture of settlement benefits.

Participants have until November 20, 2026, to opt out of the settlement or object to it. If you choose to object, you may request to speak at the final approval hearing, which is scheduled for February 1, 2027. The hearing will determine whether the settlement is approved and will also address the allocation of funds for attorneys' fees and expenses.
