Kobo Resources Announces Significant Drill Results at Kossou Gold Project

Kobo Resources Inc., the growth-focused gold exploration company based in Côte d'Ivoire, has announced significant drill results that continue to expand the known mineralisation at its 100%-owned Kossou Gold Project. The findings, obtained from seven additional diamond drill holes, highlight the presence of high-grade gold mineralisation both within and adjacent to the Main Road Cut Shear, extending the mineralised system to the north and at depth.
The latest drilling, which has now extended over 51,295 meters, is part of an ongoing two-drill program aimed at advancing resource definition and exploration. The program is expected to culminate in the issuance of an inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Key findings from the recent drilling include: - KDD0179 returned a 1.0-meter interval at 68.60 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, along with two other intervals of 5.0 meters at 4.55 g/t and 5.0 meters at 4.01 g/t gold. - KDD0175, another significant hole, found 4.0 meters at 0.58 g/t gold along the Contact Zone Fault, indicating the mineralisation extends beyond the principal shear structures. - Additional high-grade intervals were noted, including 2.0 meters at 7.75 g/t gold and 4.0 meters at 2.50 g/t gold.
These results confirm the presence of gold mineralisation hosted in foliated and sheared basalts, associated with vein sets within the principal shear zones. Notably, gold mineralisation has also been observed in unfoliated basalt host rocks and volcanosedimentary rocks along the Contact Zone Fault.
"Today's results are a testament to the ongoing exploration efforts at Kossou," said Edward Gosselin, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Kobo Resources. "We are excited by the potential of these new findings and the opportunity they present for expanding our resource base."
The Company continues to advance exploration at its Kotobi Permit and is actively expanding its land position in Côte d'Ivoire, aligning with its strategic vision for long-term growth in the region. With a strong presence in one of West Africa's most prolific gold districts, Kobo remains committed to identifying and developing new opportunities to enhance its exploration portfolio.
