Keeper Security and SailPoint Integrate Platforms for Enhanced Identity Governance

News related to:Keeper Security · 2 min read

Keeper Security and SailPoint have partnered to integrate their respective identity governance and privileged access management (PAM) platforms. This collaboration aims to streamline the management of privileged access across all identities, addressing the challenges faced by many organizations in maintaining a cohesive and automated approach to identity security.

The integration, which links SailPoint's Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform directly to Keeper's Identity Security Platform, allows SailPoint to control the provisioning, deprovisioning, and entitlements of Keeper users, vaults, and managed resources. This seamless connection ensures that access decisions made in governance are automatically enforced in the vault, eliminating the need for manual reconciliation.

For most organizations, identity governance and privileged access management have traditionally operated as separate systems, resulting in manual and error-prone processes. According to Keeper Security's 2026 research, 96% of senior IT leaders believe that disconnected security tools are creating exploitable gaps, and 64% do not yet operate with fully consolidated privileged access governance. The integration with SailPoint addresses these concerns by providing a unified solution that covers both governance and enforcement.

The integration works by seamlessly provisioning vaults, assigning roles, and managing entitlements defined in SailPoint into Keeper automatically. This includes team memberships, shared folders, roles, nodes, records, and administrative permissions. Access certifications in SailPoint now cover the privileged credentials Keeper holds, ensuring that reviews reflect actual access. Organizations can configure which entitlement types SailPoint manages within Keeper, and credentials are never exposed to SailPoint throughout the process, preserving Keeper's zero-knowledge architecture.

Darren Guccione, CEO and Co-founder of Keeper Security, stated, "Seamless integration between IGA and PAM covering any type of human and non-human identity is an enormous gap for most enterprises. Our integration with SailPoint solves this."

Keeper Security's platform is FedRAMP High Certified, FIPS 140-3 validated, and listed on the CISA Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Approved Products List. The integration with SailPoint directly supports compliance with NIST Special Publication 800-53 Rev. 5 requirements for account management, least privilege enforcement, and privileged credential control. When SailPoint runs a scheduled access certification, the review now includes the privileged credentials, NHIs, and identities being managed by Keeper, providing auditors with a complete and reconciled record across both platforms.

The Keeper integration with SailPoint is now available to organizations running SailPoint for identity governance and KeeperPAM for privileged access management. This partnership eliminates the manual reconciliation work that has traditionally sat between these two systems, streamlining the process and reducing the risk of errors.

Keeper Security, the leading zero-trust and zero-knowledge identity security solution, is trusted by millions of people and thousands of organizations globally. KeeperPAM unifies password and passkey management, secrets management, privileged session management, and endpoint privilege management in a single cloud-native platform, protected with quantum-resistant encryption. KeeperAI delivers real-time, AI-native threat detection across every privileged session. As AI agents proliferate and identity becomes the defining attack surface, Keeper governs access for humans, machines, non-human identities, and AI agents, serving as the unified control plane for access, compliance, and visibility across the enterprise.
