Kavalan and LMDW Showcase Single-Cask Whiskies at Whisky Live Paris 2026

Kavalan, the Taiwanese whisky distillery celebrating 20 years of operation, and its long-standing partner La Maison du Whisky (LMDW) are marking their respective anniversaries with a special showcase at Whisky Live Paris 2026. The event, set to take place from September 26 to 28, 2026, at La Grande Halle de la Villette, will feature five single-cask selections from Kavalan, presented under the theme "The Anthologists."

Kavalan, known for its pioneering work in single malt whisky in Taiwan, will present the following single-cask selections in LMDW's 2027 catalogue: - Kavalan Solist Oloroso Sherry Cask Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky - Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique Cask Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky - Kavalan Peatist ex-Bourbon Cask Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky - Kavalan Peatist Oloroso Sherry Cask Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky - Kavalan Solist Peated Cask Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky

Additionally, an exclusive release for Whisky Live Paris will be unveiled, further enriching the selection. These single casks are part of LMDW's 2027 Creations Collection, which aims to celebrate the company's role as a curator of exceptional spirits.

The Kavalan booth at Whisky Live Paris 2026 will recreate the atmosphere of the distillery's whisky warehouses in Taiwan. Visitors will be invited to experience the world in which Kavalan whisky matures while discovering and tasting the whiskies themselves. The booth, located at No. 85, will also host two masterclasses, one on Saturday, September 26, from 3:10 to 3:40 p.m., and another on Monday, September 28, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., in the Anthology Room.

Kavalan Distillery, established in Yilan County in 2005, has been pioneering the art of single malt whisky in Taiwan. The distillery sources crystal meltwaters from Snow Mountain and enhances them with sea and mountain breezes, creating its signature creaminess.
