Karus Mining Reports Strong Gold Intercepts at FG Gold Project

Karus Mining Inc., a British Columbia-based gold exploration company, has announced promising initial results from its 2026 exploration program at the FG Gold Project, part of the wider South Cariboo Gold District. The project, which covers approximately 1,000 square kilometers of mineral claims, has seen the company intersect high-grade gold values in the targeted structural horizon.

The 2026 exploration program, which concluded in late September, involved 11 holes completed for a total of 3,944.3 meters. The first two holes, FG-26-412 and FG-26-411, have delivered significant gold mineralization. Hole FG-26-412 intersected 4.80 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 14.55 meters at a depth of 208.50 meters. This interval included a high-grade intercept of 32.40 g/t gold over 1.00 meters and 6.59 g/t gold over 3.05 meters at 217.80 meters.

Hole FG-26-411 also yielded strong results, with 13.35 g/t gold over 0.65 meters at 201.20 meters and 11.55 g/t gold over 0.80 meters at 208.60 meters. These findings support the company's geological model and indicate the potential for significant growth at FG Gold.

The FG Gold Project is situated within a 25-kilometer-long structural trend that hosts several mineralized showings. Drilling in 2020 and 2021 found two structurally controlled vein corridors, each extending approximately 650 meters along strike and remaining open to the northwest and southeast. The 2026 program is focused on extending these corridors, with the results providing an important early indication of the potential to grow the known mineralized footprint and uncover additional high-grade zones within this overall footprint.

Core logging, sampling, and cutting of all drill holes have been completed, and the company will report assay results once they have been received, compiled, and interpreted over the coming weeks. The district hosts sediment-hosted vein gold mineralization within deformed sedimentary rocks folded around the northwest-trending Eureka Syncline. Gold is concentrated in zones of increased quartz veining, which locally correspond to parasitic fold hinges that thicken the gold-bearing veins and create favorable traps for higher-grade mineralization.

Karus Mining's strategy is to create long-term shareholder value through systematic exploration, resource growth, and new gold discoveries. With new management and a strong technical team, the company is well positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for high-quality gold exploration opportunities.
