K2 Gold Reports High-Grade Gold Discoveries at Dragonfly Zone

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- K2 Gold Corporation, listed on the TSX-V under the symbol KTO and the OTCQX under KTGDF, has announced the results from four additional drill holes completed at the Dragonfly Zone in its 100% owned Mojave Project. These results come from the third pad of the 2026 program and confirm the presence of multiple stacked structures hosting high-grade oxide gold, located 75 meters to the south of K2’s 2020 discovery intercept, and 68 meters from the company’s previous results.

The Dragonfly Zone is situated 1.5 kilometers south of the undrilled Gold Valley target, which has rock samples returning up to 375 grams per tonne of gold. It is also 2 kilometers north of the Newmont target and midway along the more than 6.5 kilometers long Eastside Gold Trend, a broad mineralized trend that has been identified by K2 through sampling and limited historical drilling. The company has completed 29 holes to date, totaling 5,389 meters, as part of a fully permitted and fully funded 14,000-meter campaign. Drilling is currently in progress at the Newmont Zone, and results from 18 additional K2 drill holes are pending.

The latest results from the Dragonfly Zone include the following highlights: - DF26-028: 53.34 meters of 2.00 grams per tonne of gold from 70.10 meters downhole, including 15.24 meters of 5.33 grams per tonne of gold from 82.30 meters, followed by 4.57 meters of 1.63 grams per tonne of gold from 166.12 meters downhole. - DF26-025: 15.24 meters of 1.16 grams per tonne of gold from 68.58 meters downhole, followed by 18.29 meters of 1.25 grams per tonne of gold from 100.58 meters downhole. - DF26-026: 38.10 meters of 1.29 grams per tonne of gold from 50.29 meters, including 4.57 meters of 3.75 grams per tonne of gold, followed by 4.57 meters of 0.71 grams per tonne of gold downhole. - DF26-027: 6.10 meters of 2.07 grams per tonne of gold from 60.96 meters downhole, followed by 68.58 meters of 0.54 grams per tonne of gold from 114.30 meters downhole.

These results continue to confirm that the Dragonfly Zone consists of multiple stacked west-dipping gold-bearing structures and remain open in all directions. The high-grade mineralization drilled from the southernmost hole, DF26-028, extends K2’s 2026 high-grade intersections at Dragonfly to 160 meters of NNW-SSE oriented strike and confirms high-grade gold at all pads drilled to date. The company has now drilled 14 holes at the Newmont target, located at the southern extent of the more than 6.5 kilometers long Eastside Gold Trend, 2 kilometers south of Dragonfly and 1.6 kilometers west of the Flores target. At Newmont, K2 drilled oxide mineralization returning 1.64 grams per tonne of gold over 41.15 meters in hole NM20-011.

The technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements set out in NI 43-101 and reviewed and approved by Eric Buitenhuis, M.Sc., P.Geo., K2’s Qualified Person and Vice President of Exploration. The analytical work for the 2026 drilling program was performed by ALS Laboratories, an internationally recognized and accredited analytical services provider. All samples were submitted to ALS’s Reno, Nevada facility, where they were prepared using procedure PREP-31Y and analyzed at the ALS laboratory in North Vancouver, BC, Canada.
