JZR Gold Inc. Advances Vila Nova Gold Project Operations

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- JZR Gold Inc., a company focused on advancing the Vila Nova Gold Project in Amapá State, Brazil, has provided an operational update on its efforts to transition the project into a stable and consistently operating processing operation. Since taking over operatorship on May 28, 2026, JZR has made significant strides in establishing a reliable mining and processing infrastructure.

The company has successfully mobilized RR Bueno, its mining contractor, to the Project site. The mining fleet is now operational, moving material from active mining areas to the processing plant, ensuring a steady supply of material for processing. Concurrently, JZR has recruited and trained a team of plant operators and assembled an experienced operating team to manage the day-to-day operations of the processing plant.

In August, JZR established a regular operating schedule, running one eight-hour shift per day, Monday through Friday. During this initial phase, the team encountered several equipment failures and operational issues. These challenges were addressed through repairs and the replacement of certain equipment components, leading to a stabilized operation.

The company is now focused on the next phase of the ramp-up, aiming to increase operating hours, improve plant efficiency, and process more material consistently. JZR has already achieved an important milestone by shipping approximately 11 tonnes of concentrate from the Vila Nova Project to São Paulo, with an expected arrival date of September 17, 2026.

Robert Klenk, Chief Executive Officer of JZR Gold Inc., expressed enthusiasm about the progress made. "We are excited and encouraged by the progress that has been made. With the mining contractor now fully mobilized, material moving to the plant, an operating team in place, and approximately 11 tonnes of concentrate on its way to São Paulo, our focus is shifting toward increasing operating hours and improving efficiency," Klenk stated.

JZR's immediate priorities include increasing plant operating hours, enhancing plant reliability and efficiency, maintaining a consistent supply of material from the property, and optimizing the overall processing operation. The company will continue to provide updates as it advances the Project and works toward establishing sustained production at Vila Nova.
