JJP Biologics, a clinical-stage biotech firm focused on precision antibodies to correct immune pathway imbalances, will present interim data from its Phase Ib proof-of-concept trial of nebaprubart at two key scientific conferences in September 2026. The data, which positions nebaprubart as a potential therapy for linear IgA dermatosis (LAD), will be shared at the IPPF Scientific Symposium on Pemphigus and Pemphigoid in Lübeck, Germany, and the EADV Congress in Vienna, Austria.

At the IPPF Scientific Symposium, which runs from September 28 to 29, 2026, Prof. Cezary Kowalewski, MD, PhD, a sub-investigator of JJP Biologics' Phase 1b clinical trial, will present the findings. This session is part of the Autoimmune Disorders section.

The EADV Congress, held from September 30 to October 3, 2026, will feature a poster presentation by Dawid Łyżwa, PhD, Head of Clinical Development at JJP Biologics. This presentation will be part of the Autoimmune Disorders Part II session.

Nebaprubart, JJP-1212, is a first-in-class IgG4-κ CD89 antagonist being developed to treat a wide range of autoimmune, inflammatory, and fibrotic diseases where IgA antibodies play a significant role. The drug was designated an Orphan Medicinal Product by the European Commission in October 2022 for the treatment of Linear IgA Disease. The ongoing open-label Phase 1b trial, registered under EU Trial Number 2023-508661-33-00, is evaluating the safety, tolerability, and exploratory efficacy measures of nebaprubart in patients with LAD.

According to Sohail Ahmed, Chief Medical Officer of JJP Biologics, the presentations will highlight how the novel mechanism of nebaprubart works in practice.

The Phase 1b trial is an open-label study designed to evaluate safety and tolerability along with pharmacokinetic, immunogenicity, and exploratory efficacy measures, including disease activity, blister formation, severity of pruritus, and quality of life. The positive interim results from the trial were previously announced by JJPBio via a press release in June 2026.

JJP Biologics, founded on the belief that they can do better for patients with significant unmet needs, continues to advance its research and development in the field of precision antibodies. Their immuno-oncology program, which targets the CD270/HVEM checkpoint pathway in cancer, further underscores their commitment to developing innovative treatments.
